Jacqueline De'Ath, a Recreation Therapist, and Don MacLean, a volunteer, met in 2001. You may think it's an odd pairing because of our differences in age and personality .... but it was our individual skills that brought us together. Designing and painting, building and handcrafting were hobbies that we brought to the table. Perhaps it was our shared vision for creating meaningful and functional accessories that inspired us.
We started developing products together in 2006. The feedback was outstanding! We knew we were onto something great. This is truly what launched our business in June 2007. We took a leap of faith. Jacqueline quit her employment and Don reentered the work force after 10 years of retirement. Jacqueline's eye for design and Don's savvy business knowledge are driving our business to exceed industry standards in quality and price.
Our first collections were created with the style that we were achieving... accessories that would fit into everyone's home - from modern to rustic. And as we add and explore new product collections and furniture, we continue to bring the same passion and value to everything we create.
